EVNNE has made its first comeback with the digital release of the 2nd mini-album, Un:SEEN, on January 22, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. KST. Jellyfish Entertainment dropped the news of EVNNE’s comeback and its second mini-album for the first time on December 28, 2023, through their Instagram account. The mini album Un:SEEN is compiled of a rascal and vulnerable version, having a total of five songs with title tracks including UGLY, SYRUP, K.O. (Keep On), Chase, and Festa, where UGLY serves as its lead title track. These title tracks are revealed in a YouTube video titled “EVNNE (이븐) ‘Un: SEEN’ Highlight Medley.”
As mentioned by the EVNNE label company, the lead title track, UGLY, is composed by Sim Eun Jee, Lee Hae Sol, and Jacob Aaron (The Hub), with lyrics by Rick Birdges, Jacob Aaron, and arranged by Lee Hae Sol. The company also released the solo shorts and reels of all seven EVNNE members for both vulnerable and rascal versions, which shows that none of the members are absent from the album.
The EVNNE band also released the two official teasers of the music video UGLY via YouTube on January 15 and 18, respectively, and finally, on January 22, the official music video of UGLY was released on the EVNNE YouTube channel.
