After the disbandment of the girl band Loona, formed by Blockberry Creative, two girl bands, Loossemble and ARTMS, came into existence. CTDENM took its chance and paved the way for a new quintet band called Loossemble, which is a portmanteau of Loona and Assemble. Loossemble Debut Album, Tracklist and US Debut Ceremony
Loossemble officially debuted on September 15, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. KST with the release of their first self-titled mini album/extended play (EP), which has a track length of 23 minutes and 1 second. There are eight tracks in its tracklist, which are as follows: “Intro: Searching for Their Friends,” “Sensitive,” “Real World,” “Colouring,” “Newtopia,” “Strawberry Soda,” “Day by Day,” and “Sensitive” (English Version). The debut mini-album Loossemble has Sensitive as its lead single, which was also released in the English version. The lead single Sensitive is written by Hwang Yu-bin (XYXX) while composed and arranged by Clovd (WSHL:ST), Kwon Deok-geun (WSHL:ST), and Puff.
Loossemble girls also take part in the writing section of their self-titled mini album, like Hyunjin wrote the whole Day by Day track, Yunjin and Vivi took part in the track Coloring, and Gowon and Hyeju took part in Newtopia and Real World, respectively. On August 21, at midnight KST, the groups released a trailer for their upcoming album and announced their debut date and time. After two days, Loossemble dropped the complete schedule for their debut mini-album.
After the termination of Loona members contracts, CTDENM announced that five Loona members signed a contract with their company on July 5, and it was on August 2, 2023, when the company released a crew profile, supporting the members name and their visual identity for the first time. Loossemble announced that their US debut ceremony started on its debut day, i.e., September 15, 2023, and would end on October 7 in California. During their US debut ceremony, the band covered 10 cities in the United States. Later, on October 10, 2023, the group held its first media showcase and performed their song Sensitive.
Talking about the commercial success of Loossemble’s self-titled debut mini-album, it performed very well, being able to sell more than 60,000 copies after its release and peaked at position sixth in the weekly (Week 37 of the year 2023) and eighteenth position in the monthly section of the Circle Album Charts. The extended play Loossemble was released in CD (compact disk) and digital download versions.
