Kiss of Life Debut Album, First Show & Members Introduction
Kiss of Life debuted with their first mini-album, “Kiss of Life,” released officially on July 5, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. KST in CD (compact disk) and digital versions. The extended play (EP) Kiss of Life has six title tracks, which include four solos by each member, including “Shhh” (쉿; Shh), “안녕,네버랜드 (Bye My Neverland),” “Sugarcoat (Natty solo),” “Countdown (Belle solo),” “Kitty Cat (Julie solo),” and “Play Love Games (Haneul solo).” Shhh serves as the lead title track in this self-titled mini-album, whose lyrics were composed by Rick Bridges (South Korean rapper), Strawberry Banana Club, Belle, and Julie, both Kiss of Life members, while the music is provided by all lyricists and Natty (the group’s member) additionally.
S2 Entertainment first dropped the trailer for Kiss of Life’s debut on May 12, 2023, at midnight, on the group’s YouTube channel. The group also released the solo music videos of each member prior to the group’s debut: “Sugarcoat” for Natty, “Countdown” for Belle, “Kitty Cat” for Julie, and “Play Love Games” for Haneul, between June 18 and 21, respectively.
The Kiss of Life label company announced its first Kiss of Life member, Natty, on May 15 with the poster titled “Complex is over-ratted” which was unveiled on the group’s SNS account then for Belle, Julie, and Haneul between May 16 and 19, in the same order mentioned here. Also before the debut, the full glimpse of each member was announced through YouTube in the order of Natty, Belle, Julie, and Haneul from May 29 to June 1, respectively. Kiss of Life members Julie, Natty, Belle, and Haneul also conducted a media showcase under the hosting charge of Park So-hyun (a South Korean actress), performing live “쉿 (Shhh)” and “안녕,네버랜드 (Bye My Neverland) in the afternoon of the debut day at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, South Korea, where all members showed their gratitude towards the audience and their loved ones. Till now, there have been no official lineup changes made to the group. The debut extended play (EP), Kiss of Life, peaked at position 18 in the weekly South Korean Circle chart.
